Hi! I'm Rachel Schell and I work with learning and design leaders.
Do you dread when it’s time to start a new L&D project?
Yeah, as a leader I used to struggle with this too.
So, I built a process for teams to create focused, engaging, and motivational training on time and under budget.
Since 2008, I've worked with organizations to create transformational learning experiences. It all began as I was researching online learning as part of my first Master's degree at UCA. That's when I became hooked on understanding how people want to learn. During my second Master's in Instructional Design and Technology from SNHU I had a breakthrough! That's when I created the transformational learning process: the Learner Focused Framework.
Transformation learning is when learners do more than read or interact with learning. They take information, apply it, and make changes to how they think or how they behave. This is what all L&D professionals strive for - training that transforms the learner!
Unfortunately, most learning and training never becomes transformational. Why? Because we do not have a process in place. It usually feels like we are “flying by the seat of our pants” each time we have a new project. Once we get everything worked out, we find out we are running out of time and may be going over budget. At this point, who has time for transformation?
If every project with your L&D team feels chaotic, unclear, or frustrating - then you need a L&D process. I came to this realization during my time as a designer, developer, and L&D leader. As I used the Learner Focused Framework my team became more efficient and content with the work.
Many L&D leaders are using the Learner Focused Framework to transform their L&D team.
Are you ready to be one of them?
