rachelschell > July 9, 2008 Day 108 - wild flowers right next to our fence we decided to dig all the grass up and plant wild flowers. the white ones bloomed first and lately these little pink ones and a few blues and yellows. I can't wait to see them when they are all in bloom. they smell amazing and the smell blows right in our back door.

Our first turn was the wrong one and we ended up herding cows for awhile. :P Our second turn was the right choice though. I can't really say it was a "lake", although that's what the sign said. Was more like a pond. Loved the water lilies. I only had my wide angle with me otherwise I would have gotten some macros of them.
rachelschell > June 9, 2008 Day 83 - scallion crepes with stir-fried greens (I added Cod pieces) this is the first time I've made crepes. a couple of them were sacrificed to the garbage can, but I got the hang of it. next time I think I need to cook them a little longer because they were really moist and tore easily. the recipe is really long and I'm too lazy to type it out. :P trust it was good!

Day 94 - "Lake"

Today before we left the moms decided to take a ride on the 4-wheelers without the children. We set off to find this lake. Our first turn was the wrong one and we ended up herding cows for awhile. :P Our second turn was the right choice though. I can't really say it was a "lake", although that's what the sign said. Was more like a pond. Loved the water lilies. I only had my wide angle with me otherwise I would have gotten some macros of them.
